SVP Hampers 2019

Saint Vincent de Paul Food Drive & Hampers 2019

We need your support for our SVP Food Drive in the lead up to the Christmas Hamper Assembly day!

The food drive is not over and this year we are asking each form class to take responsibility for a particular item.

Outline of what item each form class is responsible for in the image below:

Students are asked to bring one of the assigned items to their form teacher during SPHE class this week. Students absolutely can bring more than one if they wish but also if it is not possible to get their assigned item we are encouraging them to bring something off the above list. Something is better than nothing.

The SVP Christmas Hampers will be assembled on Thursday 12th December this year in St Maurs GAA Club. Over the past number of weekends, the TYs and some 5th & 6th Years have been bag-packing locally. Combined with the money raised from the non-uniform days this term, a total of just over €9,500 was collected. This money will be spent on food and added to the food donated from the food drive to assemble hampers that will be distributed to local families in need in the run up to Christmas. The money is raised locally, spent locally, and the hampers stay local.

Your help and support in this is greatly appreciated as always.
