College Awareness Week

Next week, November 22nd - 25th, College Awareness Week takes place in St Joseph’s. College Awareness Week has always been a very successful, beneficial and fun week in our school. It is a fantastic opportunity to begin the conversation with our students about the importance of having a post secondary school plan and the possibility of going on to college, doing an apprenticeship or entering the world or work.

We have a huge variety of activities taking place during this week, including talks from Universities, Apprenticeships and past pupils. We also have guest speakers from specific courses that our students are interested in and webinars from third level Education Institutions that have welcomed our 6th year students in the past, including Trinity, DCU, Maynooth University and TUD. We also have organised activities for all our junior cycle students that will take place in their classes.
