We have another winner in the Green Schools poster competition. Lucy (2E) won for her brilliant poster on the theme of Groundwater: Our Hidden Treasure. Lucy will be attended the awards ceremony in the Radisson Blu with her parents on the 10th May and received a €250 voucher for Art&Craft as well as a framed copy of her poster. She is also in with a chance of winning the overall competition so fingers crossed for her!
After two years of very hard work we have been successful in achieving the Green Flag for Water with Green Schools. Click here to read more about this initiative Green School's will be sending out the new flag soon. The flag raising ceremony will take place on the 25th May. The programme involved a huge amount of help from many different students over the two years.
We shall be moving onto the Travel Theme next year with a focus on climate change and fossil fuels.
Green Schools Water Ambassadors Keilan 4D and Charlie 4E have been selected as Dublin regional winners for their campaign to clean up South Rush beach. JD 4C repesented the Green Schools committee at the Award Cermony It's a massive achievement for these students..
