The Transition Year and 5th year German language students had an educational trip to Dublin on March 27th to watch the German film, “The Teacher’s Lounge” in the IFI. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the language outside the classroom, enhancing their listening skills and developing their comprehension and cultural understanding in an engaging way.
Following the screening, students visited the Goethe-Institut, which promotes and celebrates the German language and culture. They explored its resources, interacted with German-language speakers and materials, and gained insights into opportunities for further learning. A great day was had by all.
