Some lucky second-year students enjoyed a 90-minute Factory Tour at Butlers Chocolates, where they dressed like real Butlers chocolatiers in lab coats before beginning their journey into the world of chocolate.

The visit included learning about the fascinating history of the cocoa bean and the story of Butlers Chocolates in the Butlers Cinema, exploring the Chocolate Museum, and taking a guided walk along the glass-panelled walkway overlooking the factory floor.

Students also took part in an interactive chocolate demonstration, discovering how Butlers’ chocolates are made, and enjoyed chocolate tastings throughout the tour. A highlight of the day was decorating their very own chocolate elephant, which they proudly took home as a sweet souvenir of a fun and educational trip.
