We are celebrating Diversity Week from March 24th to March 28th, a special event designed to embrace and appreciate the many cultures, languages, and traditions within our school community.

The week began for students with a wonderful Flag parade as they came to school. Thanks to all those students who volunteered for the Flag Parade.
Each day will focus on a different theme, including Languages, Racism, Culture, and Inclusion, with engaging workshops such as African drumming, salsa lessons, céilí dancing, and guest speakers.
Students will participate in interactive lessons via Google Meet, hear students experiences, explore different religions, global experiences, and language tasters, and take part in fun activities like bake sales, Kahoot quizzes, and creative art projects.
On Tuesday we are having Non-Uniform Day, where students can wear red to stand against racism. Well done to Our School of Santury team who helped to organise the day.

To promote inclusion and individuality, we will also have Odd Socks Day. A Non-Uniform Day, where students can wear red to stand against racism.
Friday marks Daffodil Day, where students are encouraged to wear yellow in support of cancer awareness.
We look forward to a fantastic week of learning, appreciation, and celebration!
