Teachers from across the country gathered in Dublin for the second EPAS teachers’ seminar, hosted by EPLO at Europa Experience and Europe House. The event featured visits, a role-play activity, and discussions with MEPs Lynn Boylan and Regina Doherty. Teachers took part in practical sessions on becoming an Ambassador School and shared ideas on youth engagement, disinformation, and Erasmus+ opportunities. A highlight was hearing Senior Ambassadors including Ms Irwin reflect on nearly a decade of EPAS impact on students, with many attendees set to reconnect at upcoming award ceremonies.

TY EPAS students attended a Zoom call with MEP Nina Carberry.
The EPAS ( European Parliament Ambassador School) Junior Ambassadors along with teachers Ms. Quinn, Frau Nentwich and Ms. Irwin went to the ‘Europa Experience’ in Chatham Street,Dublin on Tuesday, 3/2/26.
This is where our European Parliament and European Commission offices are also located. They were given a tour in the interactive,audio-visual area ( open free to the public),then given an informative presentation in the 360 degree cinema area and then took part in a role play game, acting as MEPs ,taking part in plenary sessions and discussing and voting on a topical issue as it would happen in the European Parliament in Brussels.

They then went to the Dáil,where they were given a personal tour around the Seanad and Dáil and found out some interesting facts and figures from our very own Rush TD,Deputy Robert O’Donohue and his team
