In November we Remember

As we enter the month of November, we take time as a school community to remember and pray for all those who have died, especially those close to our hearts.

Throughout the month, our Ember Team will lead short prayer services during assemblies, and each class will visit the Oratory for a brief service during their RE lessons. During these visits, students will have the opportunity to write the names of loved ones they wish to remember and pray for in our Book of Remembrance, which has been specially blessed for this purpose.

The Book of Remembrance will remain on the Altar in the Oratory and will be available each day until Friday, 21st November. Parents and families are warmly invited to add names of loved ones they wish to include in our prayers.

We will conclude this special month with a Service of Remembrance on Monday, 24th November, when the Book of Remembrance will be placed before the Altar in the church. This Mass will be live streamed to all classrooms at 12:00 p.m., allowing our entire school community to join together in reflection and prayer.
