Team Hope Shoebox Appeal

First Years have filled boxes to send to Team Hope for their Shoebox appeal 2024. Thanks to all students, teachers and parents involved in this Appeal.

Team Hope arrived to our school on Tuesday to collect shoeboxes for the TEAMHOPE Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2024.

Team Hope is an Irish, Christian and child-focused international development organisation.

Founded in 2010, Team Hope work in Africa and Eastern Europe to help children affected by poverty or marginalisation.

Shoeboxes were made and donated by first year students with the help of Transition year students.

2026 Science for Development Showcase in Iveagh House

St Josephs' was represented at the 2026 Science for Development Showcase, an event hosted by Self Help Africa and Irish Aid to highlight student innovations with the potential to tackle global challenges in the Global South.

Our First Year students splashed into second place at the local St. Patrick’s Day Parade with a spectacular "Deep Sea" display featuring hand-crafted jellyfish, sharks, seals and paper-mâché turtles created by our talented Transition Year Art student

Code Plus is an initiative designed to bridge the gender gap in the tech industry by providing girls with hands-on experience in computer science, coding, and problem-solving.
