Congratulations and thank you to everyone who got involved in celebrating World Book Day yesterday. It was great to see such enthusiasm around the school!

The winners of our fancy dress competition were Giuliana, Theodora, Eva Maria, Hazel, Gabriella and Ellen (all first year) who impressed with their costumes from Alice in Wonderland.

The winners of our draw for entries to The Masked Reader competition were Charlie Savage and Maya Galbraith (6th Year) and Mark Fitzpatrick and Aoibhin Kavanagh (1st Year).

Guess the Teacher’s Bookshelf, the ‘Masked (teacher) Reader’ and book related music playing over the intercom!

Well done to the Literacy Team who are doing great work this year promoting reading!

Theatre Trip to Bord Gais Theatre

Our 6th year Leaving Certificate Applied class had a fantastic trip to the The Bord Gais theatre to see Life of Pi with Ms Boylan.
