St. Josephs has donated a total of €31,350 to Aidlink as a result of all of our fundraising efforts earlier this year. Thanks to everyone who helped out and took part in the various fundraising events.
Congratulations to the Senior Boys Cricket Team who have won the Senior Boys Cricket Cup. An historic first for St Josephs. Well done to all.
80 TY students took part on the Bronze Gaisce Adventure Journey to Glendalough (25 km) and 30 5th Yr students took part on the Silver Gaisce Adventure Journey to Camino de Santiago (100km).
Presenting our Salters Sterling Award Winner, the Mentoring Awards, the First, Second and Third Year Engagement and Resilience Award Winners. The Awards were presented at an Award Ceremony event hosted by TCD
JCSP 3rd Year students were awarded their Profile of Achievement Certificates on Friday.
Formal Assessments will take place for all first, second and fifth year students beginning Thursday 23rd May for fifth years & second years, Monday 27th May for first years. Timetables and Information available here.
Two St Josephs' students have won national awards in the Senior category of the Young Reporters for the Environment Competition. A first for the School
Students presented projects at SciFest a National STEM fair programme. Projects were exhibited at SciFest@College DCU and SciFest@College TUD Blanchardstown. Students represented their school with distinction and can be proud of their efforts.
Europe Day celebrations took place in St Josephs'Secondary school. Junior EPAS Ambassadors supported by Ms Irwin & Mr Doyle organised events for staff, students and special guests ; an EU Ambassador, MEP, Minister and Senator.
An inspirational week as students and staff learnt more about each other, particularly those differences that can confuse sometimes. Students displayed such bravery making this school a richer place for all.
Second Year students were justly rewarded for their hand work and perseverance.They received their Certificates of Achievement at an Award Ceremony in TCD.
Our Ember Team attended the CEIST  leadership conference last Wedensday 17th April in St. Patrick's campus, DCU.
Activities are taking place throughout the week encouraging physical activity, and mindful activity. Watch out for Year Group Positivi-TEA, Wear Orange Wednesday, Cycle against Suicide, Bake sale and Live Music events. Get involved.
